Welcome to the Philippine American
Foundation for Charities, Inc. (PAFC) website.
PAFC is a nonprofit, nonpolitical tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization formed in 1997 to
focus on community-based charitable, educational and cultural projects that will improve
the quality of life of the Filipino American community and the larger mainstream
community.
GOALS
- Raise funds for charitable organizations and help improve the lives of the people they
serve both in the United States and in the Philippines
- Undertake activities that educate the Filipino American community about its rich
heritage and culture and involve the greater community to the broadest extent possible,
thus promoting better understanding of each others' cultures
- Sponsor projects that foster a positive image among the youth, and in so doing gain
deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships to the greater community
- Foster team spirit and camaradarie among the members through community projects that
bring people together
